Mommy-Daughter Shopping Date

I got to have a mommy-daughter date with miss Naveya! Most of our dates recently have been 'girl's night in" style. We put on clay face masks, paint our nails and watch Netflix! This time we got to have a mommy-daughter date out and it was so fun! I forgot my phone, which turns out was the best thing that could have happened! Since we didn't have anything to keep track of time....we didn't! [Luckily I made sure I had my camera before we left knowing I wanted to snap a few photo's with it!]

We walked all over Target looking at birthday party decorations and toys! I can't believe Naveya's birthday is only 2 weeks away, and I haven't gotten anything for her party yet! Ha! So it was fun [and overdue] to party plan and get present ideas!

We bought some candy on the way out of Target and walked down to TJMAXX! Finding hidden gems in that place is thrilling! Ha! I know, I lead such an exciting life! Walking into a store where every single item has a discount is so satisfying! 

It was so fun helping each other pick out outfits! We probably spent an hour in the dressing room. Again no watch, so I have no idea on the exact time, but we just laughed, modeled clothes, and ate candy! Which would be why Naveya has a green tongue in that last photo. 

I'm obsessed with moments like this! No rush. No distractions. Just beautiful time together! Naveya is going to be 7 years old in two weeks. As much as lately I've been A Crazy about my babies growing up so fast, I also get these amazing moments like our mommy-daughter date. Reminders that there are so many more fun days like this ahead! More shopping and nail polish with Her!
