Welcome Home + New Beginnings

We're home!!! It's been so amazing to be back in Phoenix! After we dropped Naveya off at school this morning, the boys and I drove up this street on a hill close by. There are all these modern homes with gorgeous views of the valley and downtown Phoenix. I just love it here.

So much has happened in this past month! We're all settled into our cozy little apartment! Naveya is in full swing back at school and loving being back with friends! We made a quick trip up to St. George to visit family and celebrated Danny's 28th birthday! (More posts to come!) I feel like this year is going to be especially full of growing! Ha! In just the past two weeks we've gone to Naveya's "It's great to be Eight!" night at church. It was for all the kids that are turning eight in 2017 and will have the opportunity to be baptized! I can't believe my baby is going to be 8 this year! I remember MY eighth birthday! So first it was 'It's great to be Eight!' then, last week we went to Daxton's Kindergarten Roundup at school! AHHH! My baby baby is starting Kinder in 6 short months! I'm so excited for the milestones we'll get to celebrate this year, and at the same time the mama-growing pains are real. 

So I'll be here. Trying my best to soak in everything that is beautiful about this season of my life. Every drop of sunshine, every hug and kiss. Every new beginning! This year is going to be full of them!
