Naveya's 7th Birthday!
A few weeks ago we got to celebrate Naveya's 7th birthday!! Gosh I love her! She planned her own party! Chose the pool, made homemade invitations, and helped bake her red velvet birthday cake and lemon cupcakes! She's actually helped with her birthday cake the past couple years since deciding she wants to own a bakery one day. ( I should really start to bake something other than boxed cake mixes so we can both learn to bake! Ha! ) Naveya also asked me everyday for the 2 weeks before her birthday if I had gotten her present yet. Then once she knew I had, she started asking for clues! :)
It was so fun keeping it simple and getting to make everything for the party together! Just me and my little lady.
The day of her party we woke up to rain. Texas get's confused and there won't be a cloud in the sky one second, and then it will be pouring rain the next. At least here in Houston it's been that way anyways. Naveya said a prayer that it would stop raining for her party. It was so sweet. We were so happy when the sun came out a couple hours before her pool party! Everyone got to swim, eat, and play! Danny, Naveya and I all jumped off the high dive too! It's so fun to see her try new things and have her adventurer spirit grow!
