Lunch Date
One of our favorite discoveries here in Texas has been a Mongolian restaurant called Kublai Khan. Besides the food being amazing, the fact that 'CRAZY Mongolian Stir fry' is part of their sign is the best! Lunch dates have become this romantic idea in my head realizing that next year we'll have both kids in school. I'm sure most days I won't know what to do with myself in a quiet house. I'm actually kinda freaking out that this is the last year I'll get to spend this kind of quality one-on-one time with Daxton. So, the idea of getting to go on lunch dates with Danny more often is one thing I'm looking forward to.
There's also something fun about being out and about during the day together. Just the two of us. We got to make our own custom stir fry bowls, talk, and wander HomeGoods together. I love his friendship! 'Quality time' is both of our love languages. It doesn't have to be fancy, it just makes us happy to be together! Being high school sweethearts probably has something to do with that. We don't remember much of life without each other. We've been going on dates since I was sixteen! Ten years later we go to this crazy Mongolian stir fry place and get this fortune cookie that says, "It's time you ask that special someone out on a date!" It was perfect!
I'll take all the time and all the dates I can with you Mr. Hoefelmann. Xoxo
