Wall Climbing

The high school near our house has become our playground on the weekends. Playing on the football and soccer field there will probably be my favorite memories of our time here in Texas. A few weeks ago we decided to drive around the back of the school and found this mini obstacle course! We had planned to play with this new little sling shot ball-in-a-sock thing we won at our church halloween party. So this little spot in the back was perfect for that and climbing the walls too.

The kids had so much fun charging at the wall over and over! At first  Danny sat on top to help them over. Pretty soon Naveya was climbing it all by herself. It was so fun seeing her taking on a challenge and watching her confidence grow. We have some videos from that day too so I'll have to out a little movie together. Dax impressed me so much because he wouldn't give up! He never made it over the wall by himself the first time we went. Daxton just kept going though with all his might. To be completely honest, that wall was intimidating to me! My little man kept giving it everything he had with every time he ran up to the wall. We almost had to drag him to the car when it was time to leave!

We went again last week and Dax did it!! He finally made it over the wall! I'm so glad I got a video of it on my phone. Also, Danny is such a stud! I'm not the most athletic person. Ha! I'm so glad he takes the time to teach all 3 of us how to throw a football. (Or in this case a sling shot ball in a sock thingy!)
