Grateful

I did a gratitude journal recently that has a twist to it. Knowing how much I loved doing it this way, I think this just might be my go-to formula. It's super simple! Each day for 5 days in a row you write down 25 [different] things you're grateful for. No repeats. So at the end of the 5 days, you have a list of 125 things you're grateful for!! The twist [and genius part] is, 10 or more of the 25 things you write about have to do with a trial or challenge you're going through.

Houston has always been a temporary move for us. What was supposed to be a six to eight month thing has now turned into 12 month thing. Which has been especially tough for me lately. I feel like it helped to write about different things and places that make me happy! Including things we've discovered here in Houston.  At the top of every page I wrote,"I am so happy, so blessed, so grateful..."

Here are a few of the 125 things I'm grateful for!

  1. palm trees
  2. baking with Naveya
  3. swimming at the pool as a family
  4. crepes
  5. I've been blessed with a man that loves me, see's the best in me, and believes in me.
  6. Disneyland & the excitement of getting to take Naveya and Daxton there someday!
