Me Time - Window shopping!

Now that summer [busy season] is over it's been so nice getting to spend a ton of time with Danny! Quality time is my love language! So when it comes to time with him and the four of us together as a family.....I can't get enough!! Which usually means I'm not the best at making quality me-time happen. Unless you count reading other blogs or watching Netflix. Ha! I make time for myself here or there, so I didn't really feel like I was missing anything. Danny knows me better than I do though, I swear, because I forgot how refreshing it is doing something out of the house by myself once in a while. 

Danny planned a boys afternoon with Dax so I could have a couple hours to myself to window shop! Of course, I love to shop-shop too! Ha! Window shopping has always been a hobby of mine, though. Ever since I was pregnant with Naveya! I just love walking through stores, not looking for anything in particular, just seeing what their is! Plus, I'm even more excited to be saving every penny I can right now for our summer in New York City!! {Thats another post for another day!}

It was so much fun trying on clothes and looking at jewelry! I loved putting together a few monochromatic outfits! {Pretty sure I could base my entire fall wardrobe around olive green, black, grey, and burgundy. Love. Love. Love.} I also tried on some sheath dresses which are a little outside my current comfort zone, but ended up being some of my favorites! Mama's still got it! :) 

I'm so grateful for Danny, his thoughtfulness, and moments that remind me it's important to have a little reset. It doesn't matter if it's window shopping, yoga, snacking on a bag of peanut M&M's , or reading a good book! I know taking a little time to do something for me helps me in life as a wife, mama, and woman learning to love herself!! :)
