Disney on Ice Surprise

A few weeks ago Naveya and I got to share another first together! Rach and I had planned a double mommy-daughter date to a Christmas market downtown. I can't remember the name of it because we never made it there. Ha! On our way to our planned date, we saw a billboard for Disney on Ice! They happened to be in town that same weekend! 

We decided to surprise the girls and it was priceless! We didn't tell them where we were actually going until we were in NRG stadium ready to find our seats. It will be one of my favorite memories with Naveya. Between getting to be spontaneous, surprising her last minute, and getting to experience Disney magic together, it was perfect!! I got the chills watching the performers. You know those moments that remind you we're meant to do amazing things!? I had tons of those moments there. I can only imagine the work and practice it took for the ice skaters to learn each move. When I go to things like this I like to imagine what it must have felt like the first time they nailed the moves they're now doing in front of hundreds of people. Or how it must feel to fly through the air. It was amazing! 

Knowing how much I freaked out at that show, I can only imagine how I'm going to lose it with excitement when we take the kids to Disneyland for the first time! Thank you for an unforgettable mommy-daughter date miss Naveya! I love that we went to our first Disney on Ice together!
