Paper Christmas Tree's

Seven days into December and we finally made Christmas countdowns! Ha! Or I guess in this case a count-up 'til Christmas to go along with the calendar! For the longest time Dax has been packing his backpack almost daily to go to New York. This last week he's officially switched to packing for Christmas at home in Phoenix! It's the most adorable thing. Until he gets an attitude and reminds me I have to get packing too! Which I do! Ha!
I knew this year I wanted to make a paper chain or something. Dax especially has had a hard time wrapping his head around how far away Christmas is. I really wanted to create a visual besides just looking at the calendar. Then this idea hit me tonight as I was listening to Naveya read a Curious George Christmas book. A roll of butcher paper and a sharpie later - we had trees! My babies had fun decorating their own tree's and ornaments! I can't get over how cute their snowflakes are!! Dax watched Nana and copied her, creating that adorable purple snowflake. My first thought was that I needed to get them laminated! I'm so sentimental when it comes to their artwork. Then I just felt grateful to have a camera. I'm so glad I've started this blog. So I can have these moments forever!
Seven ornaments down. Seventeen to go!
