Cousins in AZ

We had cousins visit from St Louis this past week! Which means tons of fun catching up with family. It also means we get to kinda be on a staycation as we show them around to some of our favorite places!! Between our family, Danny's sister Rachael's family, and our cousin Liz's fam we made a party of 14! 

Along with a couple of our other favorite restaurants (Culinary Dropout and Matt's Big Breakfast!!) we also introduced them to In-n-out. Liz hadn't ever been. So, of course, we had to get animal fry's and take a bathroom selfie to commemorate the special occasion. 

Danny's sister Rachael moved here to the valley and now we have boots on the ground in Gilbert to help us find even more fun places to play and eat. Rach found this cute Mexican food stand called Topo. They serve prickly pear ice cream and it was SO GOOD!! Arizona, have I told you lately that I love you!?

We picked up the kid's school schedules this week. This summer break has flown unbelievably fast! Today was Navy and Dax's last day of camp. We have all been so busy, at times this summer it's felt like during the week I've barely come up for air. I'm grateful for nights (like the one below) where we played a new game on the iPad together, did face masks, and read Harry Potter. 

Today was the last day of summer camp! Again, how has summer break flown so fast!?? I'm looking forward to this weekend with my girl, and some time at home getting ready for yet another school year!!
